The Hideaway RV Resort is nestled on the south shore of Lesser Slave Lake in the Hamlet of Joussard, AB. It boasts direct access to the lake from a secluded property, hidden from view in a lush pocket of boreal forest.
This private, seasonal campground has existed on the lake for years and is now under new ownership. It includes 25 full service lots available for seasonal rental with gated access. Lots are spacious, private and treed making them the perfect place for your new family retreat. Choose from lakefront, or single, double or triple lots all equipped with running water, power and sewer connections.
The Hamlet of Joussard, just steps away, offers a boat launch and marina, a confectionery and small grocery store, playgrounds and a community hall, along with summer events and a friendly, small-town vibe. Lesser Slave Lake boasts 1100 square kilometers of world class fishing, recreational water sport opportunities and plenty of waterfowl and wildlife viewing. It is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts with hiking, ATV trails and hidden sandy beaches.

Located on the shores of Lesser Slave Lake in Northern Alberta, The Hideaway was purchased in 2021. Previously known as Hel-Burg Hide-A-Way, it has been a season campground for over 25 years. Lots are spacious and private giving each lot holder a tranquil escape from the everyday.
Choose from single, double, triple or single lakefront lots, all fully serviced for your camping enjoyment. A privacy fence and automatic gate provide security for you and your belongings whether you are enjoying your lot or are between visits. With a small community vibe, neighboring lot holders will feel like family with evening gatherings, friendly fireside visits and pleasant chats along your walk down to the water.
